About Me

Hello! I’m Patrick, thanks for visiting! I’m in my mid-thirties and reside in Upstate New York with my two loves; my lady Logan and my dog Lily. I’ve been described once or twice in my life as a “sports fanatic”… Okay maybe I’m a little sports crazy. My love for athletic competition started young; I’d watch baseball and football games with my father and wanted to play baseball as soon as I was old enough to put a glove on one hand and pick up a ball in the other. My first love was baseball; I played from ages 4 to 23 and still watch in excess of 100 games per year (I told you I was a little nutty). My early twenties saw my baseball “career” end and martial arts training begin. I took about 4 years of Taekwondo lessons and even competed in some sparring tournaments until I moved away (one test from my black belt… yup, didn’t think that one through all the way). Now it’s hockey that has my attention. I started skating in December of 2018, taking Adult Beginner Classes (ABC) for hockey and really enjoying being out on the ice. Now, on top of attempting to learn how to play hockey, I’m going to go out and visit clinics and talk with coaches about how to play any and all sports.

As far as my fandom goes, I’ll watch pretty much any sport; live or on television. From baseball to mixed martial arts, I’ve spent a ton of time watching, breaking down and loving all kinds of athletic competition. I love the atmosphere in the stadium, especially when you’re in the comfortable confines of your home teams park, surrounded by your team family (even if you’re just a fan of that team for your visit to a new park).
